AIMS

Children's Corner aims to provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment for children aged 18 months to 5 years, where parents can feel confident that their offspring are safe and well looked after by qualified staff who are caring, loving and nurturing.

The nursery structure is based on Maria Montessori Principles where great emphasis is placed on 'learning through play'. We aim to stimulate learning skills and imagination through teaching, creative and discovery play as well as physical activities, thereby encouraging children to achieve their full potential educationally, physically, socially and emotionally. The pre-school curriculum is based on the foundation stage and designed to incorporate government recommendations on the 'Six desirable Learning Outcomes' before children move on to compulsory education.

Children's Corner aims to operate with flexibility, allowing parents to discuss their individual needs and creating a care package that suits both parents and child.

The nursery philosophy aims for all children to live with tolerance thereby learning patience, encouragement thereby developing confidence, praise thereby learning appreciation, fairness thereby learning justice, security thereby learning to have faith, approval thereby learning to live with themselves and acceptance and friendship thereby finding love in the world.
